About the Author

Betty O'Berry is a layperson. As a young adult Christian, she had many questions and seemingly so few answers. Surprisingly, the answers were not taught in a systematic way in any of the many churches she attended. What she discovered in her study of the Bible through a myriad of books, teachers, and preachers has compelled her to write this account. She is the former Betty Whitaker, a native of Bulloch County, Georgia. She moved to Savannah to continue her education and enter into a business career after graduating from high school. She and her late husband Fred were married fifty-four years. They have two daughters, seven grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. She worked as a business and professional woman in Savannah for many years until retiring in 1995. It is her desire to share the answers she has accumulated over the years and to share her life experiences to aid you on your journey. If everyone would seek the God she has discovered and could come to know the love, acceptance, joy, and peace that this awesome God has provided, our churches would be packed to capacity with love and adoration for our Creator, and the world would be a better place because of their relationship with Him.
