As a Bariatric patient, I need to have a chewable source of calcium daily--with vitamin D to improve absorption. Two of these Tums daily provide me with the right amount of that for my body--and they taste great. (Be careful--some of the Tums you can buy don't list the vitamin D)

Chalky? No--you just have to get used to the taste--and bariatric patients who do only chewable and liquids can tell you there are plenty of supplements that are just nasty tasting!

If you need that extra source of calcium, do yourself a favor and buy Tums--and this item is the biggest bargain I've found!~

I picked up the ultras by accident, ugh they are sickly sweet, NOT what you want with acid indigestion and who needs calories from an antacid. The regular Tums work fine, yes its a chalky taste, but thats what it is AND most importantly it solves the acid problem. These are going in the garbage.

I had bought the "smoothie" flavor from store which tasted great, and figured assorted fruit will taste similar... No so much! I can't tell if the ones I got have gone bad or it is supposed to taste this way, but it tastes just awful... can't use it.

I have tried atleast 10 different kinds of chewables/liquids. These are the only kind that not only work as advertised, but they taste good too. The smoothie flavor doesn't taste as good as these assorted fruit kinds.

Although this product works fine as an antacid (other brands are less costly and work just as well), it is NOT a good calcium supplement. I ordered this through subscribe and save, planning to take it for bone strength. I am usually a label reader, but this one got by me. Calcium must be taken with Vitamin D, or it isn't absorbed (Vitamin D sort of "carries it" into the bloodstream). Most calcium supplements go ahead and include the D, and I'm sure this manufacturer knows that. It's a little misleading to advertise this as a calcium supplement unless it is useful by itself. It just isn't effective without that Vitamin D. I discontinued my subscription and ordered a Nature's Bounty supplement with the D instead.Nature's Bounty Calcium 1200 Mg. Plus Vitamin D3, 200-Count

More and more we are purchasing personal items from Amazon. We are extremely pleased with this product and with Amazon!

A completely useless medicine, didn't give any satisfactory result or an effect to reduce acidity symptoms. PPI medications are the only viable treatment for acidity at the time being.

Unfortunately mine tasted like really dry chalk. I'm used to Maalox chewables, so I don't know if Tums was supposed to taste very chalky. I would recommend Pepcid Complete these days.
