5.0 out of 5 stars Very Nice, April 18, 2011

This review is from: Antec EarthWatts 750 Watt ATX12v v2.3 Power Supply Unit (Personal Computers)
This was my first power supply that I personally installed and it was so very easy. I kept waiting for it to blow up, but it was just fine.
The box doesn't come with instructions, but you can go to the Antec website and download a basic adobe file that will help.

You know, when you open he box and see ALL those wires and connectors you just get stunned and weary of delving into this installation.
It's so easy people. Plus, it fits. That was another problem that I was worried about, but made it work and had fun doing it.

The front of the case of your computer actually snaps right off, which will scare some people. You might need to slide the CD/DVD drives outward to plug things in. My Computer tower case was a bit smaller than others which made me need to do this.

It will also help you to take a few pictures of the inside of your computer before disconnecting things.
I used my Blackberry phone camera which takes the very best phone pictures I've ever known of.

Oh, yeah, The fan is very quiet too.

I am very happy with this purchase and will definitely buy another if and when I need one for another computer.

5.0 out of 5 stars Solid Power Supply, November 16, 2009

This review is from: Antec EarthWatts 750 Watt ATX12v v2.3 Power Supply Unit (Personal Computers)
Everything works great with this power supply, runs all my equipment and then some. Best deal you can get on a quality 750W PSU. Only negative I can find is that it's not truly 'modular'. Only a couple of the extra cables are able to be removed, the majority of them are permanent.

This power supply has survived 3 power surges connected to the same socked that killed 4 other components from at the same time. I can't speak highly enough.

Powers up my new Intel I7_2600K installed on a Gigabyte Z68XP-UD5 main board/16GB Corsair Vengeance memory/Win 7 home Premium 64-bit with no problem. I've relied on Antec power supplies in my computer builds for years. Time will determine the reliability and longevity of this unit (only ten days use) but I've never had a problem with Antec power supplies.

Reliable, lower cost, modular and extremely quiet. There is quite simply nothing about this power supply that is not perfect for a 600 watt installation. 750 watts? That is just a bonus.
