This case is a full tower which gives plenty of space for cooling and the 7 fans on it keep everything very cool.

2.5 hot swap bay is also very handy if you have an external storage device that fits, easy to pop in and out.

I have forever been the guy who swore by 20 dollar cases, always laughing at my friends who spent almost as much as a CPU on their case, but today I eat my humble pie. My current rig was running hot (like it would get mad at me and shut itself down once in a while) so I sucked it up and read all the reviews I could, and finally settled on the Dark Fleet 85, partly because it was cool looking, but mostly because everthing I read said it had amazing air flow and was big enough for anything.

My setup is an XFX X58i motherboard, an i7 950 chip cooled by one of those self contained Corsair H60 waterblocks, 24 gigs of Corsair DDR3, my amazing lasts-forever generic dvd-rw, a WD Green 2 tb hard drive, and finally a single HD 5870 (this upgrade is next.) It is all powered by my trusty (5 year old) battleship of a powersupply, my Ultra X3 1600.

After swapping into this cavernous enclosure, and carefully routing the cables through the space behind the motherboard tray, my temps dropped almost 30 degrees C. This is not due to weather changes...I live in a condo that is 70 degrees F all the time with very little humidity, rather it is purely due to the improved airflow this case provides.

My chip which would sit at around 67 degrees C now is running at 42, and my HD5870, which was always right around 74 degrees C under load, now reports a mere 44 degrees.

Although I'll be the last one to say it, as I'm as stubborn as they come, this case is truely badass.

This case is a full tower which gives plenty of space for cooling and the 7 fans on it keep everything very cool. I have my graphics card overclocked and it has no problem with heat at all. The four usb ports on the front are nice and the hot swap bay and the connectors for hard drives inside were a great idea. If you need a good case for a gaming computer, look no further!

Issues:

1) 7 3 pin fan connectors and no adapters. I had to spend another 55.00 on a fan controller for these.

2) The Fleet Swap connector broke off inside my sata cable as I was connecting it. This ruined the cable and made that bay useless... Furthermore, you cannot order additional connectors, as far as I can tell. That's 6 buck for the cable.

3) Their is no bottom vent for the PSU. This means you have to mount it upside down and puts the main cables in the wrong spot. I had to order two motherboard power supply extenders just so I could try and route them behind the backplane. I have a Corsair Professional series 850 watt power supply that has EXTREMELY long cables too. Poor design decision Antec. And another 20 bucks.

4) The front USB 3.0 is a joke. You have to route it THROUGH the back of the motherboard. Did I mention I liked good cable management. I ended up buying a motherboard to front USB 3.0 cable. Time spent installing and making the cable work with this case? 30 minutes. Money spent? Another 15 bucks. Pro? I have two front USB 3.0 ports now.

So, by the time all was said and done, I could have bought a MUCH nicer case and saved myself a lot of time. I ended up spending an extra 96 bucks to get it to work properly, and I am still down a hot swap bay now. Antec, you should be ashamed of yourself. You're generally better than this.

EDIT: I am updating this to reflect that Antec did replace the Fleetswap controller that broke, as well as provided me with power extenders for the motherboard connection. This was all after the fact, of course, but they did at least make an effort. That said, regardless of my overall disappointment with this case (originally - once it was together properly, it is very nice), they did their best to stand behind it. Raised the review to 3 stars.

One of the best designed cases I've seen. My graphics processor idle temperature dropped 30 degrees by just moving my hardware to this case and hasn't increased more than 5 degrees during heavy use. It's also so quiet that when I had guests over they asked if I was going to turn on the fans.

Fans keep everything cool. Spacious/high tech design. Only 1 compliant. My top CD drive swing arm was broken on arrival. Antec is supposed to send me a replacement. Fantastic case overall, very happy with my choice and Amazons speedy delivery as always.

This is my 2nd at home computer build and I must say this case is fantastic compared to my shotty Thermaltake V9 case... "Don't buy it"

Pros:
+ Extremely Spacious (Just big enough to squeeze a MSI R6970 Lightning GPU in)
+ Plenty of fans (Make sure your PSU has enough Molex connectors this beast has 7 fans included plus a open space on the side panel for another 120mm fan)(5 fans have RED LEDs, the other 2 fans are plain fans)
+ Cable Management is great, not the best but better than no cable management
+ Includes a ton of screws, mobo mounts and everything else you need for getting everything mounted
+ Includes Zip Ties
+ USB 3.0 port connects to a USB 3.0 capable motherboard!
+ Dust Filters on front 3 fans
+ Extremely easy access to Hard Drive bays from front of case
+ Very Well Built!!!
+ Price

Cons:
- The swinging doors on the DVD/CD/etc drive bays look cool but get in the way. They can be removed easily but are still kind of meh
- Zip Ties included are really small

All in all this case is fantastic!! BUY THIS CASE
