No problems with my PSU so far. It's running my i7 desktop, ATI HD6950 and 4 HDDs without any problems. Silent operation. Nothing else to say. It is what it should be: invisible. Probably the best compliment a PSU can have.

Power supply is quiet and works fine (after 1 week of use). Use it on a PC with Intel Core i-7 and an XFX Radeon HD 5750 graphics card (am not a game player but have several other components to justify this power level particularly at such a reasonable price) and the sound of the graphics card fan at idle is much louder than that from the PSU to give some idea. Don't know that the modular design saves all that much cable space and actually would have preferred one more SATA cable without having to use a modular cord but this would be true of any of the modular design from any other company. Would suggest looking at reviews of the Antec New Truepower series if you are considering buying instead of anecdotal reports - all the ones I saw were favorable. Only 1 site that I could find reviewed the TP-650 [...] - very positively - but other sites including Tom's Hardware have reviewed other wattages of this series from Antec - also very positively. You can find citations to the reviews of other wattages on the Antec website as well as reference to 80 plus bronze certification. If trying to establish how much power you need, the Antec website has a good calculator on it based on the components in your PC. I also called Antec with a question on installation and they were very helpful - actually answered the phone and gave accurate information in a customer friendly way - a surprise these days in computer parts/accessories. Obviously can't vouch for reliability yet since just purchased, but product has a sufficiently long warranty. Got mine shipped from J&R - excellent vendor. Would purchase again.

The unit appears to be very well built. Substantial wiring and extra connectors. Everything I needed.I gave 5 stars to the unit and minus 5 stars to the shipping clerk who packaged it in a large box with memory and a Razer mouse and minimal protection air bags. The side of the box was crushed from lack of support.
