Product Description

Product Description The long awaited Second Generation (G2) Control Boxes have finally arrived. A common misconception is that the more gain you receive, the better. This is not entirely true. You have to receive just the right amount for your conditions in order for your antenna to reach optimal capacities. In other words, the key must fit the lock. One of the biggest problems among customers is buying an antenna that is too powerful, or simply not powerful enough. This universal antenna signal range finder features an adjustable dial that allows you to control your signal strength, thereby alleviating all worries of which antenna is right for you - all can work just fine now with this control box! This universal unit has been tested and approved as compatible with outdoor antenna models such as: AX-660, AX-680, AX-903, AX-906, AX-909, 2605, 2805, and many others. Free-To-Air television (FTA), where TV should always stay free.

I have a 3yo HDTV and connected the antenna with an HDMI cable. I made several attempts to get it to work. I tried every possible combination and position. The best I could get was a few local channels less than 15mi away. If it lived up to its claim I should get Philadelphia - 40mi, Atlantic City - 30mi, Or even NYC - 90mi. The rotation control is very sloppy making it imposable to fine tune using the remote. It doesn't stop when you let go of the button. It doesn't always go in the direction you want it to.

I have been using an antenna from an old analog TV, after tried this HDTV Antenna for a few days I went back to my old one. Both antennas received the same number of channels. This new one can be adjusted with a remote whereas my old one by hand. My conclusion is reception of TV channels are limited by location and height (less obstacle). Over the years I have searched and tried more than ten antennas and yet to find one that is better than the other. I am in a HOA community which does not allow outdoor antenna. I am using my old one because it does not take up much space. The seller of this new HDTV Antenna is very polite and helpful and I am reluctant to return the purchase to them. Will see.......

Bought this to improve my HD reception. First antenna was defective, got a replacement. Replacement does not receive any more channels than the cheap one I had on previously

After the digital change, i lost all my tv stations and had to pay for cable service. I am Chinese who like to watch Chinese programming, so every month I pay the cable company $69.95 for 8 Chinese stations. One night i see an tv commercial antennas on one of the stations, and was shocked that i can get all those same stations for free with an digital tv antenna. After talking to some friends that already using tv antennas i decided to cancel my cable service and when with this amazing product. for $59.95 I now get all my local stations in HD digital 1080p and the 8 chinese stations! I told every one about digital tv antennas, will never go back to cable again.

at first looks like a small version of dish network dish, not mush like an antenna. Over all easy to install, just plug and play. I find this antenna was too powerful at my house, and had to unplug the power cord in order to bypass the build in booster. After all stations are clear and holding. And I live around 30 miles from the tv stations, on the box this antenna show the range to be 35~60+ miles. Can't use the remote with out the power cord plug in, but it works.
