This was the best antenna for the best price that I could find. We are only about 10 miles from the TV towers, but the antenna provides very clear reception and seems to have a pretty wide receiving angle. This was mounted in the attic using string tied around the main beam and nailed to the rafters - mounting hardware was not helpful for this type of installation, but it seems to work okay. Very pleased with this purchase.

Works very well in my circumstances. The AntennaCraft 5884 antenna is mounted indoors (HOA disallows outdoors antennas) in my attic, pointing within a few degrees of a mountaintop approximately 18 miles away where all the broadcast antennas are. The mast is set up to allow the best line of sight dodging furnace and ducts, but this goal is achieved only imperfectly as the attic is cluttered. Channels vary from low VHF (i.e. channel 3) to UHF. Antenna output feeds into a mast-mounted AntennaCraft high-input amplifier, and the amplifier output into a 5-way splitter maybe 100 feet of cable away. All cable upstream of the splitter is double-shielded RG6 (outside insulator, mesh, tinfoil, mesh, tinfoil, dielectric, copper clad center conductor). Reception at a socket downstream of the splitter is good. There are maybe 40-50 HDTV channels available, and the image is good (cable quality) without banding or noise in 1080 or 720.

works great and the high definition picture is better than cable (cable uses compression on the signal) pulls in about 35 channels up tp 95 miles away---great deal

turned off cable . been using the rabbit ear antenna for my bedroom hdtv for awhile. this antenna beings in 33 channels local. got it hooked to my computer which has a built in tv . now i can record local channels. put them on a flash drive and watch all my favorite shows when i want. radio shack wanted $43.00 plus tax for the same one. next thing is to get a voip for the phone. cutting everybody out. except for internet . can't live without it

Works great, was easy to install. Make sure your cable run is as short as possible to minimize signal loss. But now I have no need for cable tv. I'm free!
