25 year's hard working for Slovenian band LAIBACH reagent with this first compilation of them. First cd of this album is a collection of the best of Laibach's songs from '80'S to 2004 (including the lust studio album WAT and some previously unreleased material). But second cd contains mixes, some of which are unavailable elsewhere. Sure, if you have all cd single's from LAIBACH you'll have more than 5-6 new songs like Plastikman rmx, Mark Stent, J. Reactor, RANDOM LOGIC etc... This cd box include the package with 40 page surprisingly booklet with paintings, photographs and writing for 24 years working of this band and their basic art group NSK (New Slovenian Art). You need must to have this double cd compillation in your private collection, it's HISTORY of one of the fatality, sparow-hawk and disastrous band in the alternative music of lust and this century.

This is a great compliation of Laibach's material spanning a decent time frame. The booklet is quite interesting as well and the second disk of remixies has some pretty catchy tunes as well.

I recently just heard a few of their songs so I decided to get this best of because I didn't really want to get into this band and because the songs I like were on it. I was surprised to later find out that this band his been around for so many years and that they inspired bands like Rammstein, which I am a fan of. This is a 2 disc set with the first cd having music from their whole career and the second cd is full of remixes and there is a 44 page booklet included.

These guys sound like a mix of industrial with Wagner and marching music which creates a powerful and beautiful sound. A lot of songs are full of energy and will have you rocking out with their driving beats and marching drum sounds they also use choirs with great effect. There a few cover songs which are far superior to the originals with the sound and message. The lyrics are in german english and slovian.The 2nd disc has only remixs of their songs which I don't like at all but I've never really been a fan of remixes in the first place. The booklet talks about the bands history and there are a bunch of pictures.

If you like industrial music like Rammstein or if you are a collector then I would recommend that you get this.

IMO THIS IS A REALLY GOOD "BEST OF" ALBUM. IN CASE YOU DIDN'T ALLREADY KNOW LAIBACH ARE HUGE PLAYERS IN THE INDUSTRIAL MUSIC SCENE. THE FAR MORE FAMOUS INDUSTRIAL METAL BAND RAMMSTEIN WERE DIRECTLY INFLUENED BY LAIBACH. THIS IS A DOUBLE CD THAT INCLUDES RARE REMIXES, COVER SONGS, AND ORIGINAL MATERIAL ALL DIGITALLY REMASTERED. LAIBACH HAS ALOT OF RANGE SO EXPECT TO HEAR SOME TWEEKED OUT ELECTRONICA, SOME HARD ROCK, AND SOME CREEPY SLOVANIC FOLK MUSIC. SOME OF THE LYRICS ARE IN GERMAN, AND OTHER SONGS ARE IN ENGLISH. INCLUDES A NEET BOOKLET WITH COOL PICTURES AND TIDS OF THE BANDS HISTORY. A VERRY GOOD BUY!
