5.0 out of 5 stars An impressive early 90s dance compilation, March 20, 2007
This review is from: Anthems of Old Skool (Audio CD)
I'm really amazed how they managed to compile the original club hits of the early 90's. It's hard to find so many artists of the scene put together in a decent compilation. You get here Snap!, C&C Music Factory, The Prodigy, Cookie Urban Collective, The Shamen, lots of eurodance. This boxset covers the 1989-1993 era, although it's mostly 1991 that reigns throughout the collection. It's safe to say that these tracks would be very dear to those who was around at that time.

Just keep in mind, the set represents particularly British club anthems, most of which although were also popular in Continental Europe. Some are missed, say Technotronic, Felix, Two Unlimited, but how many discs would you want??? This collection is perfect.
