I have had the previlige of going to school with these guys and they were anointed then. I love this cd and have been blessed by the songs "Use Me" that is a song for me because that is what I want God to do. I love them and I believe that they know that. Peace be with each and every one of you and may God continue to bless you.

I am so glad that God sent us some young inspirational singer. Youth Edition, is the greatest thing that could have ever happen to this new generation. I would like to thank Kevin, Keith, Reggie and Van for the inspiration that they have given to me. The album is HOT!! I know with Gods help they're going to rock this nation. I encourage everyone to go out and purchase this album. Keep on keeping on, Youth Edition, we all love you. There is only room to go higher. I look forward to seeing you on stage very soon. Again, thank you, for you may never know the lives you have touched.

Youth Edition is difinitely the group that will take over the gospel scene for the next Millenium The album showcases their love for God and His people. I can't wait for future projects. (see you guys at stage side) Shawn W.

To god be the glory for Youth Edition success, I've known these young men for along time. Their manager Mr. Vasser has acknowledge God in every step they have made as a gospel group. I bought this CD after hearing part of a song at my local music store. I can't say enough about it, the whole CD is wonderful!! These guys can truly sing. If you like gospel with a R&B edge yet meaningful lyrics, then you will love this. Go ahead and order this one, you won't regret it!!

I don't care if this cd came out in 1998! It still rocks! I bump it in my car and my mp3 player. I use some of their songs in Praise & Worship before my Pastor comes up and after he preaches to pray for (minister to) people. His favorite song is "Anything Is Possible". I wrote a review about this cd to the seller and I recommend them to others. I made a mistake though. I thought I ordered it in October but indeed it was the beginning of November. It arrived just in time to use at our Church service that following Sunday. I ripped it to my computer and then to my mp3 player. I LOVE IT! I LOVE IT! I LOVE IT! I read another review where a woman was blessed to go to school with them. I say to you: Can you find them, please? I wish they would come out with another album! God has talented so many Gospel artists, like Winans Phase II, Dawkins & Dawkins and Youth Edition. I love these 3 groups. If you had not heard them yet then you need to! God bless! When I first heard Youth Edition sing at the Fred Hammond concert, in Chicago, I knew I had to have this CD. Youth Edition is truly BLESSED! It is a blessing to hear young men singing from their hearts for the Lord. It is great to know that we have young people who are willing to let God use them. I encourage everyone, young and old, to buy this CD. It will encourage your heart.

The debut album of Chicago's Youth Edition is quite a piece of work. My compliments to the artists as well as the production company for allowing the music listening world the opportunity to share the message delivered by these spiritually led men. Best of luck in your future endeavors...and remember anything is possible if you keep your mind on Him.

To be quite honest, I don't buy a lot of so called traditional `Gospel' music. This is for a number of reasons. I find that listening to this genre, there is a lot of what I would call `Gymnastics' being adhered to. By this I mean that, vocally, because most artists have superb voices, they feel that it gives them license to wail and holler all over the place. Whilst some may tell me that is what Gospel is about, I find that it distracts from the musical message, of the gospel of Christ. Also, to me, many artists seem to follow what's hot in the R&B scene and adapt that to suit their needs, rather than try and be original. This leads me onto this CD. To me this CD is a mix of two styles. You do have your `Bump- this- in-your- jeep toons (`Use me' comes to mind as an example) and your more traditional style offerings( The Sun will shine, Go tell it on the Mountain). The four young men have excellent voices, and the production is tight. I just wish that they, like many of their contempories, would take a chance and sing about other topics. For example, the issue of killing sin, in the Christian's life, temptation, pain and hurt, are all topics that this reviewer can think of, but unlike Holy Hip-hop, where these issues are being covered, gospel, to my knowledge, seems quiet. I know this is (as far as I know) their only/debut CD, so maybe I'm being a little harsh. A pleasant debut, that whilst good, is no different to what's on the market. I would welcome anyone recommending artists to me that are different in the gospel scene.
