5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome!
This is a great CD. At first listen, it swept me away. For all those Journey fans who are looking to hear the MIA track that Jon sings...look no more than song #6! Truly the best...I have always been amazed by the way Jon plays piano and from the first not to the last, I was blown away!

1.0 out of 5 stars Not that great.
This album by John Cain is inferior to his previous releases with Journey and Bad English. Musically this is a good CD, but the songwriting is all-in-all unfocused. The only exeption to this rule is the song "I Wish I Was There With You" which is esentially a throwaway track from the last Bad English album which makes the song way better than the rest of them.

This cd hasn't left my computer cd-player since I got it! What a wonderful series of songs by a master of lyrics and melody. Every song is a gem and the cd is a must have for anyone who loves melodic rock. If there were 10 stars of rating, I would choose them all. Thanks to Jon for putting out this jewel. A must have!

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic Compilation, September 18, 2001

Anthology is the ultimate compilation of "Back to the Innocence" European and US releases. Jonathan is a great songwriter and singer. Anthology is a well put together CD, which also includes "Lose Myself in You" (from the Journey Arrival recording session), "Waiting on the Angels" (about his twins, Liza and Weston) and "The Time It Takes" (a duet with Mica Roberts). It's a great CD to que up and listen to all day long.

4.0 out of 5 stars An amazing talent that needs solo recognition!, August 27, 2001

This latest release from Jon Cain, Journey's famous keyboardist, is a wonderful collection of pop tunes with his voice on lead vocals. He has a smooth, beautiful voice and his melodies are fabulous. Maybe a bit like Billy Joel singing a ballad? Jon Cain is a master at the piano and a songwriting genius and now we are lucky enough to hear him sing 19 great tracks. Definitely worth buying. Check it out!
