A Great Introduction to the Basics of Anthropology
This book is great for beginning anthropology students or people who just want to learn a little more about it! Basically, the author hits the main points (kinship, culture, primates, language, etc.) in an extremely easy to understand fashion. There are clear, concise definitions throughout, which I found to be very helpful when using it in the college classroom...

what a waste of my time
I can't believe we actually pay anthropologists to find out such worthless facts about people from who knows and who cares where.

This book is great for beginning anthropology students or people who just want to learn a little more about it! Basically, the author hits the main points (kinship, culture, primates, language, etc.) in an extremely easy to understand fashion. There are clear, concise definitions throughout, which I found to be very helpful when using it in the college classroom. Overall, a great choice for an introduction to the study of anthropology!
