An excellent introduction to anthropology.
Overall, Haviland does a masterful job of covering the many basic aspects of anthropology, illustrating the ideas and integrating them smoothly. Reading this book was not only often one of the highlights of my anthropology class; Haviland made me want to get out and change the world.

wrong book
The book i purchased was the correct one but the picture showed the ninth edition and the used copy i received was the seventh edition. Please have your used sellers state this in their statements about the books you'll be purchasing.
