I live in MN, so did not have the humidity this plant needs to thrive on a rock. The rock also is porous, so it came hiding a lot of insects. The flowers lasted about a month. After that it was a struggle to keep it alive and trips to the garden centers to buy pesticides to control the bugs that came out. The bugs fed off the plant, so the leaves gradually had to be removed as they got holes in them and turned black, brown, or yellow. It is probably a great plant for a 7-10 zone. I was sad to see it go, and I tried so hard to keep it going. It was a fight with the bugs. I wouldn't get this again.

This is maybe the best gift choice I have made for one of my grown kids. He never bothered with such things...but somehow I thought it might just be that something he would enjoy looking after...since, according to the description, it would be easy. And I was thinking...but, it is still a living thing. He has just reported to me that the plant is thriving and he is really enjoying it so much, he is going to get another. I know my son would have no trouble telling me it is gone already. So, this Mum is really happy. And, maybe I'll get him another next year. Maybe I will get a more wintery tree for myself up here in Maine.

My friend loved this gift I got for her! She was really going through a tough time in her life and instead of my sending just a regular plant (like a peace lily) I chose this cool bonsai! It was symbolic - such a pretty thing growing from a lava rock to say that great things can come out of hard times! It's cool to look at and doesn't require a lot of maintenance, she says!

The Gemini Anthurium was a gift to a Gemini attorney . I'm told on a daily basis that it is doing beautifully - is greatly appreciated and is the talk of the office.

I also purchased some pink ones for myself - they also are doing beautifully. They do like diffused light but not direct sunlight.

I highly recommend it.

The plant arrived in great condition with two tiny flowers already in bloom. It was packaged well and had a heat pack in it as it was delivered in the middle of the winter just days after a snow storm.I love the fact that it is in a piece of lava and is very easy to take care of. I will be purchasing the pink version as soon as we get settled in our new house.

This plant loves to be around other plants. I would hjave more thatn the 4 that I have if I could.

Exellent gift! Turned many heads last Christmas and my mom loved it! Not sure how long she was able to keep it alive.

This plant has a lot of red blooms. I have ordered six plants, and they have all shipped great even in cold weather they ship with a heat pack. Very healthy plant to add to my collection of lava rock bonsai. Thanks again

I order this Anthurium for a Christmas present. It arrived before Christmas. It was in great condition. I will order again from the company. Because they bring a little bit of paradise to those who are sooo very far away.
