I'm always a bit skeptical when it comes to anti-aging substances. I've seen too many people with bottles and bottles of supplements lining their medicine cabinet.
However, this book, which shows you how to use anti-aging herbs and spices in their natural forms, is a whole different approach.
I am already a big fan of ginger and garlic but didn't know that I was using garlic incorrectly. Now I know.
And the recipes, which look amazingly tasty and simple, are certainly going to become part of my repertoire. In particular, my morning oatmeal will never be the same.
I like all the valuable information contained in this well-written, well-formatted book. And, I especially like the fact that the author isn't pushing supplements in pill form.

I got this book for my mom who is an avid cook and she cannot stop talking about it. She has already tried almost half the recipes and both her and my dad were blown away by how healthy they tasted. I think this is their new favorite cookbook!

If you have concerns about the aging process and how to slow it down, this book is for you. It has excellent information on a variety of herbs you can use to help you on your journey. Lee provides great ideas on ways to keep yourself looking and feeling younger. And best of all, she provides some great recipes to boot! I know I will be trying her Garlic Ginger Stir Fry Chicken and the Squash Brownies. They look wonderful. And I've had Ginger Carrot Soup and it is delicious.

When I got into my mid 30's I noticed that I lost a lot of my energy and zest. I was moody, tired and not really enjoying life that much. Little did I know, it had a LOT to do with what I was eating.
