I've tried well over a dozen different types of dandruff shampoo. Head and Shoulders, Suave, Avon, Mill Creek, natural and un-natural remedies, you name it, I've more then likely used it at some point. Quickly running out of options and short of getting a prescription I decided to give Axe a try and boy am I glad I did! My dandruff has been drastically reduced almost to the point it's nonexistent.

The added conditioner also gives my hair a nice silky feeling without having to spend extra time or effort, very nice!

The nicest feature of this shampoo that most dandruff sufferers will like is the cooling effect that it has. If you have the slightest itchy or irritated scalp, the cooling effect couldn't feel any better.

I honestly don't know what the difference between Axe's Freeze and the other shampoos I've tried (they all seem to have 2%-5% Pyrithione Zinc in them), but there is just something in it that works better then any other shampoo I've tried. So if you suffer from dandruff and experience an irritated/burning scalp, give this stuff a try, I'm sure you'll be pleased with the results!

Leave my hair feeling clean and soft.
Cooling effect really helps alleviate the itchy feeling.
Smells pretty good.

Cons:
Kinda spendy, but compared to some other anti-dandruff shampoos it's pretty cheap.

I don't have dandruff, but my head has been kinda itchy from time to time. I thought I'd find some great itch relief shampoo out there, but most of what I saw was just dandruff/itch shampoo. Anyway this one caught my attention so I bought it. I don't feel any cooling tingly sensation when I use it, though it certainly smells like there is some nasty medicinal junk in it. Overall the scent isn't bad, but when you have it lathered up in your hair it smells pretty strong. May work great for dandruff, but if all you have is an itchy head, find something else. I gave it three stars because I guess it does clean your hair (though not as good as pantene shamp/cond), and I like the design of the bottle with the cap that pops open when you push the button. Probably won't like it as much when I can't get the last of the shampoo out though.

I'm cheap so the price is a little more than I like to pay, but it is good shampoo. I really like the way it smells and makes my head feel when I'm using it. (It feels really cool and refreshing, probably due to the menthol) No flakes, so it seems to be doing what it is supposed to.

My husband and son use this. My husband did not like the minty scent. My son seems to like it but it is not controlling his dandruff. We have yet to find something that will work for him. We have 3 bottles so he will use this until it is gone since it does the same job at dandruff control as everything else he has tried.

After using it for a 3 week period I will be switching back to Head n Shoulders. Axe Shower jell rocks though

I knew going ahead with this purchase of the product as I have used it in the past. However, I didn't expect it to have an expiration of 7/31/2011. I could have accepted it with an expiration date in the near future, but not that's already expired. Anyways, make your own judgment.
