I've had a problem with dandruff my whole life. I tried the 2 major anti-dandruff shampoos, but they didn't seem to help much. I just couldn't go more than approx. 30 hours without washing my hair without developing a mild case of dandruff that would last for about a week. If I went 2 whole days, I'd have chunks of scalp falling off for a couple of weeks. Yes, kinda disgusting, but as long as I washed my hair every 24 hours, no problem.

I'd kind of resigned myself to this routine as it's been like this for the past 30 years or so without any change due to different shampoos or types of water.

Then I started using Axe. I don't usually use Axe products and I sort of bought it when I was traveling and needed something quick and easy and it was on sale.

I liked it right away, but not a big difference as long as I was washing every 24 hours. Then, as usual, something came up and I was delayed by half a day. No dandruff. Then, after a while, missed my "window". Again, no dandruff.

I can now go a whole 2 days without getting dandruff!!! I haven't pushed it past that as I don't want to "look a gift horse in the mouth" and, after a lifetime of daily hair washing, even 2 days seems kinda gross now.

I can't say everyone will have the same results I did. But if other dandruff shampoos haven't fulfilled their promise, try this one out. I don't want to sound overly dramatic, but it has literally changed my life.

Axe Armor Shampoo and Conditioner in ONE is FANTASTIC for my son. Young men tend to be in too much of a hurry to use conditioner on short haircuts, and tend to think the conditioner is only an option for softer hair (which is less a requirement it seems ;) So, for that fantastic feature of this shampoo, it is excellent!!

As for the added feature of Zinc for Anti-dandruff, it works better than any other comparable dandruff shampoo we've tried! Recently, my son has been using some gel products which tend to dry out his scalp and cause some flaking. Not only does this shampoo completely wash out the gel, but it has taken care of the flaky scalp as well. My son is absolutely Thrilled with this product, as is his mother. ;)

The PRICE on this product (when fulfilled by Amazon) cannot be beat! Single 12-oz bottles are anywhere from $5.50 - $6.50 in the grocery store. I use the Subscribe & Save option and get TWO (2), huge 22-oz bottles for $11.61. That's DOUBLE the product for the price of purchasing from the local store. But WAIT... that's not the only bonus when buying from Amazon... I'm also getting FREE shipping and pay NO tax on this product. Win.. Win.. Win!!!

I can't speak to it's anti-dandruff qualities because I need prescription shampoo to control that, but I use it to wash the the gunk and hair-gel out of my hair. I also use it on days I don't use my prescription shampoo and it's just fantastic. It has a light, refreshing scent and washes gel out very easily. And now for the price....
