This is a story? This is nothing but two people having sex. There was literally no story. No wait: this is the story:
Diedre and Jonas knew each other in high school and had an attraction for each other, Jonas got engaged to some other girl. Diedre moved to New York after school. The girl cheated on Jonas. For TEN YEARS Diedre and Jonas have had no contact at all. Diedre goes to housesit at her parents' B&B in Texas. Jonas is the next door rancher/Sherriff. In one day Diedre and Jonas are all over each other, with Jonas telling Diedre he'll never marry. Diedre is disappointed to hear that. Then, page after page after page describes every second and action of their love-making: in the bed, against a tree, in the kitchen. Some kid burns down the barn at the B&B. Jonas quickly discovers the culprit. Diedre's parents return. Diedre prepares to go back to New York. (She's been there all of like maybe four days!) Jonas is disappointed. He goes home and finds Dierdre at his house. She says goodbye. They kiss. He tells her to stay. He wants to spend the rest of his life with her. She agrees. The End.
That is literally the whole story. Ridiculous. I've been reading some really light stories, but this one took the cake.
Instead of this, read "Gone With the Wind"!

This book wasn't bad but it surely was over like that still enjoyed it even if it was quick. Some books just doesn't need much to be said.

Deidre Nelson is back in Ventura Texas watching over her parent's bed
and breakfast while they are away. Jonas Mendez is the town's sheriff.
The last time Deidre and Jonas saw each other was to say goodbye
before Deidre left for New York ten years ago.
Ten years is a long time, but the attraction that simmered between
Deidre and Jonas is as strong as ever and the anticipation of what
might become of it is even stronger!
Anticipation is the perfect title for Jonas and Deidre's story. I
love how they got back what they once had. Of course this time, it's
better than before! There is a lot of heat and heart in Anticipation;
it's a sexy and very romantic story.
