A GREAT BOOK ABOUT OLD FISHING REELS
Without hesitation I highly recommend this book. Mr. Jellison clearly provides a general primer on reel collecting and patent history. He includes thousands of value listings and I feel that the coverage of the subject is substantial, particularly in the area of reel repairs and evaluation of reel defects. Disappiontment
The book is very general! There are not very many specifics about any of the reels. In fact,I personally own several reels from manufactors of reels listed in the book that are not even listed. I was very disappionted. If I would have been able to review this book in a book store,I would have not purchised it!

This book is of great value and interest to the collector of fishing equipment. They will know what to look for when attending swap meets and yard sales. It will also help them to make repairs if needed to their finds.
