Reminiscent of the 1920's antique, Edwardian and Art Deco designs. This beautifully designed floral filigree ring features a 5.5mm .65 carat bright red Mozambique garnet. This ring is a replica of an antique engagement ring. These rings are not mass produced and are cast per order using molds of actual antique rings or original hand carved dies made to appear exactly as their authentic counterparts did a century ago. very letdown,

I am very let down by the quality and appearance of this ring. the garnet is beautiful~ it has wonderful color and light. but the quality of the silver is so dull and lackluster, honestly, it looks like those rings i used to buy as a child that were displayed in foam rubber at the dime store. No matter the quality of the garnet, it looks like a complete fake because the silver around it looks like tin! The detail of the mold is very good, but again, the silver has no glimmer, no weight.I cleaned it with jewelry cleaner and there was no improvement. I am highly disappointed as I love some of the other designs by this vendor. but honestly, i don't even want to wear the ring it looks so awful.

Found this and had my husband purchase for me for Valentine's day. I love it! My one problem with it is that there is too much antiquing. But, that's just a personal preference. True to size, and for this price, a very lovely ring. I've already had several compliments on it!
