Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Antique Stock Certificate Almanac 2005: Antique Stock & Bond Price Guide (Paperback)
I was a little disappointed because I couldn't find a good percentage of stocks that I looked up. That being said though, there is good information here. I feel that overall, it was a worthwhile purchase.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fascinating Collectibles, February 11, 2009
This review is from: Antique Stock Certificate Almanac 2005: Antique Stock & Bond Price Guide (Paperback)
This book is a wonderful compilation of stock certificates from a long forgotten era in American business; and it proved to be quite fascinating for me, as I paged through the names of companies long since defunct; my favorite being a certificate for the old St Louis Browns baseball team, signed by the late William O DeWitt, the father of current part-owner of the St Louis Cardinals, Bill DeWitt, Jr.

For anyone interested in collecting rare memorabilia, this is a unique source, and one that provides a great deal of insight into the glory years of American business; and it's far more interesting than looking at some baseball player's statistics on a card that we used to stick in our bicycles to make that cool clicking sound.

This book is a true "home run" as far as I'm concerned.
