This book gives a list of tools, but sometimes I find that the tool I'm looking for a price on isn't in this book.
And the I wasn't aware of the age of this book, some of the information was older than I had expected, but that could be because I didn't do the proper research.
Overall it is a nice book and give a lot of pictures of tools, and they do tell some about the history of the tools.
For what I paid for it, it was a good value.

i bought this book as a gift for my father in law. when i recieved it my husband who is also into old tools read it first and said that he wanted it too! i guess that means the book lives up to its standards. i liked the pictures that went along with it so you could actually see the tool they were talking about. overall, good book!

This looks like a fine book for antique woodworking hand tools. I needed prices for antique machine tools, which this book does not cover.

This book is wonderful for the antique tool collector. It has helped me to discover what some of my tools were used for and their value.

We love this book! We sell a lot of tools where I work - we get a lot of antique tools and it has been fun to learn about them and identify them. It is amazing what is out there.

All I expected. Alot of information for the tools it advertised
