Finally - a humongous general antiques book with color photos for every listing! This book is very easy to use and has pictures and long descriptions for anything and everything you'll find at antiques shops and shows. It has extra long sections on glass, ceramics and jewelry, which is great. PLUS, you get a free bonus book on Fakes and Repros. This book is a great deal!

If you're a fan of antiques and collectibles, you'll want this book. It really delivers. My perennial favorite areas are ceramics and glassware, and there's a healthy dose of both inside. In fact, both of those giant categories have been revamped with new information and new, larger color pictures. I also applaud new sections on cookie jars, figurines (which includes Hummel, Precious Moments, and Wade), Hallmark Keepsake Ornaments, and Little Golden Books. Nice touches, bringing the book into the 21st century of collecting.

I am very pleased with this book. We are avid collectors of just about anything (not hoarders though)and it is nice to be able to research the current value of some of the items we already have.
