Beautifully photographed and certainly worth some study. But -- it won't make you an expert. Any single book with this breadth of information can't do more than touch the surface. It's not a field guide; too heavy to carry for a day of shopping. My advice would be to check this out of the library and give it some study. Then buy a more specialized work on your...

Beautifully photographed and certainly worth some study. But -- it won't make you an expert. Any single book with this breadth of information can't do more than touch the surface. It's not a field guide; too heavy to carry for a day of shopping. My advice would be to check this out of the library and give it some study. Then buy a more specialized work on your special field of interest.
