La presente antologia recoge trabajos que recorren la extensa obra del poeta chileno Vicente Huidobro (1893-1948). Desde sus primeras obras bajo la influencia del Romanticismo, del Simbolismo y del Modernismo hasta su Arte Poetica, su manifiesto de principios en torno al Creacionismo. Se incluye tambien Altazor (quizas su libro mas revelador) que consolida el salto hacia la vanguardia que plasma forma y contenido: su argumento es el cambio y la renovacion. El lenguaje, la expresion y la constitucion de los poemas hace del conjunto de estos libros su aporte mayor a la poesia latinoamericana del siglo XX: La figura de Huidobro es no solo indispensable para pensar la Literature & Fiction (incluyendo luego a Pablo Neruda y Gabriela Mistral) sino tambien la continental.
