This is one of the best albums i ever heard. Period.
It is so full of beauty and finesse, so delicate and charming, till it is almost impossible to bear it.

The ensemble La Gioia Armonica is new to me, and i'm so happy that i discoverd them. To judge by this recording alone,the alto (male) singer, Jurgen Banholzer, is clearly on the top step of the top echelon of the alto singers today, and i wander how it is that i never heard about him. His singing is so smooth and intricate, so melodious and exciting, so authoritative.

The same can be said about the other participants, and especially about the wondrous sounds that Margit Ubellacker extricate from the dulcimer and about the passionate but subtle cellist, Emilia Gliozzi.

The recording by RAMEE is very good, and so the beautiful package and the helpful notes.
