many as per Amazon's siteThank-you for this... my husband and I have gone thru it. The tears are running down my face, as I think what has been going on in my wonderful husband's mind. I thank GOD daily for your book, as it has given us the strength to keep working at our marriage. Now that my depression has lifted, I think that if I had not become ill with depression, and Panic disorder, I wouldn't have met all my good friends-Ken you are one, and become a fuller, more compassionate person. It has also done this for my husband who before living with me, wouldn't have understood or cared about people with our disorder. Thank-you, Ken. --

AnonymousThis easy-to-read book is a must for every support person, as well as every person riddled with anxiety and panic. Ken has written a comprehensive, concise book that clearly states the support person's role in helping the anxious person recover. Being a former sufferer, Ken is qualified to describe how the panic-struck person feels, and what the support person can or can not do for them. This book was designed to give friends, family, and support givers a clear understanding of anxiety, panic attacks and agoraphobia, and I must say he has done a great job in doing just that. Chapter by chapter, Ken takes apart this illness and describes and explains the various dimensions of anxiety, panic attacks and agoraphobia. He starts out explaining stress and moves to explaining the different forms of anxiety, depression, anxiety and panic attacks and their causes, medications, and methods of treatment. Each chapter is dedicated to a specific malady of the illness, as well as explaining what it feels like to be a support person. He also writes in detail, how a support person can help the person who is still sick. Chapter Fourteen answers the most frequently asked questions. This section is great because even though it is entitled, "Frequently Asked Questions" they are questions that the support person or the nervously ill person are very often afraid to ask. Once these questions are answered, the support person and sufferer, can experience peace and calmness of mind. The size of the book allows you to carry it with you easily. It gives one confidence to the help available as needed. --
Barbara Casagrande, Anxiety & Panic Consultant with Serenity Counselling Services. Virginia, USAThursday your book arrived. Friday morning I gave it to my boss figuring things could not get any worse. Friday afternoon he called me in and actually apologised for believing I was making "the bizarre " symptoms up. We agreed we would both think about it over the weekend and try to find ways to help me at work. THANK YOU! --
