Book Description

From the warped mind of screenwriter Rhett Reese, co-creator of 'Zombieland,' 'The Joe Schmo Show,' and 'Invasion Iowa,' plus upcoming release 'GI Joe: Retaliation,' comes 'Anxiety,' a novel of suspense about overcoming fear in the extreme. Josh Redding, 26, is afflicted by severe, debilitating panic attacks. Once an accomplished student with a sharp wit and a bright future, Josh has retreated from the world into a motel room in the small desert town of Joy, Arizona. There, he awaits his turn to die. And someone wants to give him his wish.

4.0 out of 5 stars Dark psychological horror/suspense novel October 21, 2010
This book drew me in from page one. The main character, Josh, suffers from severe anxiety disorder, and makes a most unlikely leading man. But the book is very well written, and the character is well drawn, and I really came to care about what happens to him. This isn't exactly what you'd call an "enjoyable" read - it's too dark for that, given the events that unfold around Josh. But it was definitely a *good* read, and I can wholeheartedly recommend the book. If you enjoy horror stories, or dark suspense novels, you'll enjoy this book.
