THIS IS REAL HIP-HOP MOUTH OF DA SOUTH I SAY PASTOR HAS A CRUNK VOICE LIKE MYSTIKAL AND LIL JON HES GOOD MAKING FUN OF 50 CENT THIS GUY IS 4 REAL BELIVE ME IVE HEARD MY SHARE OF HIP-HOP BUT THIS IS HOT WHOEVER HAS THE GUTS TO GO UP AGAINST 50 CENT HAS MY VOTE C YA

I really dont know why but for some reason I like many others, am drawn to this atl rapper named pastor troy, his lyrics are nothing special, his beats are most of the time average at best, his songs really dont make sense and most times his albums are only about 50 minutes are less (this one is 46 minutes). But the truth remains that pastor troy is one of the most electrifying rappers out there, why? because he brings so much energy to the mic, unlike many rappers he doesnt rap for the glory of it, he raps because he truly wants to represent Atlanta to the fullest and get the clubs live and jumping. Although it is true that pastor is no where close to a 2pac or a Biggie he is still hot simply because he isnt trying to be a 2pac or a Biggie, this album is the type that you listen to when you are in a car that has a nice system and just let the speakers bang and you could care less about the lyrics, the standout tracks on this album are "Crank Me Up" which jams like hell, of course his single "Riding Big Yo" is hot, "Crazy" is a great track with a nice beat and Pastor actually has a deacent flow on this track, the track "Nice Change" with Juvenile is probaly the second best song on the cd. So if your looking for some cold flows then this is not the cd for you, if you are looking for some timbaland/neptunes produced beats this is not the cd for you, but if you are a true pastor troy and atlanta fan then you should check this out for sure

Pastor Troy's group DSGB just dropped an album not three months ago and now Troy drops his 4th solo lp. The Pastor is most known for his delivery and style rather than for his lyrics but everyone knows that he does have the potential to drop amazing verses. This album is more beat driven than his previous albums though. Even with that said some of the songs are just plain out terrible and unlistenable. Crank Me Up is quite possibly the worst song Troy has ever done. Just Awful. Off The Chain sucks and Representin is one of the worst lyrical efforts and worst flows that Troy has attempted. However, as expected, Troy drops some amazing songs. Ridin Big, the single, is a worthy song with a thumping backdrop. Nice Change feat. Juvenile, and Boys To Men w/ Eightball are both top caliber songs. Atlanta, arguably the best song on the album, is riding out with it's Isley Brothers sample, and Crazy is the classic cruisin song that has become a staple on Pastor Troy affiliated albums. His sinister songs It's About To Go Down and F. Them N's are also above average although not reaching the level of 'I'm Outside', This Tha City, or 'No Mo Play in GA'. The biggest surprise is the Lil Snap & Lil Killa 'demo' where these lil kids are rapping, they have some flow I can't front. It's actually kinda tight and kinda funny at the same time especially when you hear Troy's background vocals. I wish Troy would have kept the beat for himself cause it's pretty gangsta. Troy somewhat delivers on his fourth album, although it isn't as compelling as his others it's still worth checking out. 3.5 stars.

Pastor Troy is the best rapper period. He has some of the best lyrics and reps the atl harder than anybody. 12 out of 13 songs on the cd is straight. He should have been gone platnuim but all these bootleggers cranking up on him. Instead of getting it for $5 buy it here. In his intro he said if he don't platnium on this cd he is letting it go. track 13 F____them N_____ Everybody want to put violence in their rhymes/ they love 50 cent cause he shot 9 times/ But what about me i shot 9 mutherF______s/ Let him the yard for his mother/ I shot the brother/ I shot the aunt/ i f____ the sister/ i smoked a blunt/

Atlanta is off tha chain for real... And anyone really throwin up the city is thumpin PT. Universal won't give him any publicity but he still manages to be the biggest name in Atlanta. He defines crunk. Pastor Troy brings a lot of energy to By Any Means Necessary which is one of his most versatile albums. 5 Stars.. Cop this Fill YA CUP AND GET CRUNK

Pastor Troy is the best he is always bringing that fire out the south. He is one of the many artist that always bringing that fire from the south. The Best Songs

Man.. P. Troy has done it again. This CD is one of his best. Yes, he is trying to come out with more commercial songs, and he's doing a good job of it too. I am a TRUE fan, and this CD is definately worth buying. Dont be cheap and bootleg it either!This should be a platinum CD right here.

I think Universal Soldier was better, but this album was way better than We Ready-I Declare War

4:Atlanta-7/10 Another song for PT to represent, but I actually like it though
5:Representin-6/10 I like this song also, decent beat
6:About to go down-8/10 One of my other favorite songs, good lyrics
7:Off The Chain-7/10 Clubbanger, love it
8:Benz-?/? Don't know what to say, exact ripoff beat of Nas "If I Ruled The World" from the "It Was Written" album, and sounds like 2pacs "Troublsome 96'" beat from the greatest hits.
9:Lil' Snap and Lil Killa-8/10 Great lyrics, probably passed down from PT himself to these kids but I still like it
10:Boys To Men-7/10 Listened to it mainly because of Eightballs appearence in the song, good beat

11:Crazy-9/10 Second favorite song, love the beat
12:Nice Change-6/10 Juvenile sounds off beat almost as bad as his recent "Juve The Great" album, Lil' pete has nice lyrics
13:F*** Them Ni**az-7-10 I like how he talks about 50 Cent, hardest beat on the album
This album is a little better than average, but if you even somewhat like Pastor Troy then you should buy this album

This has gotta be my favorite Troy album since Face Off, Universal Soldier despite rating is a piece of garbage it sucked. This one is able to play to the commercial fan and keep it real with the gangsta hits. Check out tracks 3,4,6,7(lovin this one),8(great spin on "Friends" by Whodini),9(skit, but it has these lil' kids flowin pretty good), and 12..dont let anybody tell u this isnt a good album cause its goin off one of the best troy's ever dropped since his early days. Go pick this up.
