5.0 out of 5 stars Anybody But Justin-A Joyfully Recommended Title!!!
Gabby is looking for "the one"--someone serious about life and a monogamous relationship. The problem is that no one measures up to the friendship and fun she had with Justin, her former roommate. He's a player and never serious about anything. Why is it then that he is all she thinks about, even though she knows he is not the serious, forever kind of guy...or is he...

Anybody but Justin is an extraordinary story. The underlying "never judge a book by its cover" applies to Justin and is a lesson learned the hard way for Gabby. Sometimes when you think you know everything about someone there may be something more to learn. I completely fell in love with Justin and Gabby and their story and I wholeheartedly recommend Anyone but Justin as a must read.

5.0 out of 5 stars This is an erotic romance, July 23, 2009
This review is from: Anybody But Justin (Kindle Edition)
For those who are interested in this book, be forewarned that it is an erotic romance. With that being said, this book is great! Ms. Stevens does a great job of showing the transformation of Gabby and Justin's relationship from friends to lovers and I fell in love with both characters. For those who like the friends to lovers aspect and enjoy erotic romance, then this is the book for you!

Gabby and Justin were roommates for 2 years, until 6 months ago when she moved out of his house while he was in Cabo w/ some of his buddies. He runs into her a grocery store, she tries to hide from him - she had been avoiding him. She moved out 2 weeks after they had drank a bottle of tequila and Justin kissed her. So they made out - then she moved out - without a word, no note - nothing. Justin is giving up that easy, he wants Gabby - and he will do anything to convince her. There is talk of domestic violence but, it only to develop the background plot - doesn't really play into the main story line.

This is another story about how a friendship becomes more. However, what made this a story good was the balance of emotion and detail. This story was very short - but has impact.

4.0 out of 5 stars Summer book, July 19, 2009

Ok, I got this book for free on my Kindle, and although it was short, it was quite well written.

This isn't my typical genre, but I liked the characters and the way they were developed. This writer has talent, if she should choose to branch out.

Good summer read.

4.0 out of 5 stars Sexy story about friends becoming lovers, October 1, 2010

This review is from: Anybody But Justin (Kindle Edition)
This story was nicely written, I immediately liked Gabby and Justin's characters. The plot was pretty straightforward. It had so many memorably sexy moments, that it's hard to pick just one. If you're looking for a story with a good romance and many love scenes then this one won't disappoint.

4.0 out of 5 stars I liked it, July 25, 2009
This review is from: Anybody But Justin (Kindle Edition)
I honestly thought it was a pretty good story. The reason why i bought it in the first place is because its free. So, why not give it a try. Since other reviews already included most of the storyline here, i won't waste more time telling you what the book is about. Overall, i do recommend this book to anyone who is looking for something interesting with a little kick of romance and free to read.

2.0 out of 5 stars Very short story.....maybe 120 pages., April 5, 2010

Anything But Justin is about Gabby who has sexual desires for Justin; however, she does not want to act on these feelings. After the two "hook up" Gabby has regrets about it after finding sexually suggestive emails in Justin's email box.

There is another underlining story of domestic abuse that is not really developed well. The ending comes abruptly by leaving other plots in the air except for Justin and Gabby's love for each other.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not the best, February 22, 2011
This review is from: Anybody But Justin (Kindle Edition)
This book was ok, however, I feel it was very short. I believe the author could have explored the characters a little more. The domestic abuse storyline was not explored very well. Without telling the whole story, I think that Gabby, the main female character, was self centered and Justin should have moved on. The story ending was way too abrupt.

3.0 out of 5 stars Okay, but not wonderful, February 19, 2011

Gabby moved out of her apartment and away from her roommate and best friend Justin. They kissed one night and she decided that she needed to get away from him before anything else happened. And before she falls in love with him. Justin has no idea why Gabby just up and moved out while he was out of town. He's determined to find out the truth and realizes his true feelings as well.

The book was okay. I didn't get done reading it and hate it, but there's just wasn't that moment where I thought, that was a really good book. It's cute and might be worth a read, but wasn't one that I'll read over and over.
