About the Author
Jean Ure was born in Surrey and wrote her first novel when she was six years old. She spent her teenage years writing and had her first book published when she was sixteen. Jean lives in a three-hundred-year-old house in the centre of Croydon with her husband and their family of rescued dogs and cats.

I've given my daughter two books in this series. The other one was Pumpkin Pie. Ure has captured her attention. I recommend the series for girls aged 11 to 13. I also read this book and was impressed with the storytelling. It was hard to put it down.

The story is good. But I can't understand the story. Its totally mixed up. In addition, there is no inteesting extracts. But I still stink its only OK! So think twice before reading. But its great and the author is great too.
