5.0 out of 5 stars Great Bike Reference, May 3, 2009

This review is from: Anybody's Bike Book (Paperback)
My nephew recommended this book to me as a reference book that would explain the various parts of a bicycle and their function (and malfunction.) He, who has frequently cycled 100+ miles with friends for twenty-plus years. The book was a great leg-up for me as new cyclist: well explained and diagrammed.

5.0 out of 5 stars anybody's bike book, December 22, 2011

Great beginner friendly bike repair book, but with information for the more experienced also. I like to use books along with videos on you tube or similar internet "how to's". The combination gives me a good understanding of how to do something new.

The author is gone but his words will endure to serve the needs of anyone interested in "doing it yourself." He talks you through the diagnosis of the problem, what tool to use and how to use it, what to look for, how to fix, and when it is time to replace with new parts or a new bike. Absolutely the best bike fix guide I have ever seen. And its cleverly written with excellent illustrations.
