Amazon.com Product Description

Have you been looking for Bluetooth headset prices to come down from the stratosphere? Finally, an affordable, quality headset with great features has arrived. The Anycom HS-777 combines one of the longest talk times in the industry with crisp audio quality--all at price that makes a lot of sense.

The comfortable Anycom HS-777 offers solid headset performance at a very sweet price.
The 32-gram HS-777 is designed for comfort and ease of use. The ergonomic ear loop cradles your ear for all day talking comfort, while three buttons on the device control volume up/down, call answer/end, redial, and mute functions. Meanwhile, two color LEDs on the headset indicate paring, call, and charging status. With compatible phones, the HS-777 also supports auto-answering, voice dialing, and last number redialing.

With a talk time of up to 12 hours, the HS-777 is ready to go all day. And because it has a standby time of 200 hours, you can keep the headset close at hand for up to a week without needing to recharge it. The integrated, rechargeable battery is housed in the ear-loop. An AC charger is included with the device and full charging takes about two hours.

With support for the Bluetooth 1.2 specification, the HS-777 is capable of offering wireless freedom up to 30 feet away from your phone, computer, or PDA. The new Bluetooth 1.2 specification provides quicker connection to your mobile phone and improved coexistence with other wireless devices. You can even use the headset as a VOIP phone device when making Internet-based calls from your computer.

4.0 out of 5 stars Anycom HS-777 Bluetooth Headset, July 26, 2006
This review is from: ANYCOM HS-777 Bluetooth Headset (Wireless Phone Accessory)
Purchased this headset for my wife. Price is good compared to other headsets. The battery over the ear and the rest of the headset on the outside is a combination of the Jabra over the ear completely and the Motorola Headset that is completely outside the ear and is more comfortable than the HS-850.

I had a Motorola HS-850. When you turned the HS-850 off and left the bluetooth power on your cell phone on, the HS-850 would connect automatically to the cell phone when you powered up the HS-850.

The Anycom HS-777 works fine, but if you turn it off, you have to connect the headset to your cell phone from the menu even if you leave the bluetooth power on your cell phone on . Other than that is is clear and never loses the connection.

2.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing, May 5, 2006
By
This review is from: ANYCOM HS-777 Bluetooth Headset (Wireless Phone Accessory)
I bought this after reading many reviews but this did not work for me. I am using this headset for 2 weeks and found following:

Pros:
1. Easy to use: Buttons are conveniently located
2. Pairing is extremely easy. You can do it in just 30 seconds.

Cons:

1. Not comfortable for long hours. (Whats the use if you can not wear it for long hours)
2. Not good for noisy environemnt.
3. Constant static.
4. Sometimes a lot of disturbance even if phone is 2-3 feet away.

Returning it back.

3.0 out of 5 stars not sure...., December 22, 2005
This review is from: ANYCOM HS-777 Bluetooth Headset (Wireless Phone Accessory)
I bought this for my girlfriend who has a LG VX8100 phone. It paired up pretty quickly and effortlessly to the phone and was recognized. She seems to be pretty happy with it although I've noticed echos when she's on it and I'm talking to her. I hear everything I say repeated back to me. It's bearable but gets annoying. This seems to happen when the volume is turned up pretty high.
The headset paired right up to my Sony Ericsson s710a but I wasn't able to use it. I'm not sure where the problem is but the phone kept disconnecting from the headset (or vice versa, who knows?). I was annoyed by that but I'm glad that I didn't buy a pair of them when I bought my girlfriend's.

Buttons on the device seem a little hard to reach - the multifunction button is especially so when wearing it on the right ear.
This is my first experience with a bluetooth headset. The device seems ok. I will not purchase it again, but it's decent for the price - I got it cheaper from somewhere else.
