I don't normally write reviews but I had to write to express my satisfaction with this BT mouse. I have internal Bluetooth in my laptop (Dell) and this mouse works flawlessly with it. Turn the mouse on and it links right up to the laptop and goes. I love the tactile rubbery coating on this mouse and the included USB charger. Nice style and design coupled with excellent battery life and decent ergonomics for a small form factor mouse make for a great deal in a BT mouse. As usual, Amazon's service is top notch as well!

I chose this one b/c I wanted a mouse that was Bluetooth and rechargeable. I also like the idea of charging thru the USB port - 1 fewer adaptor to carry around. I got the mouse this afternoon, and finished the first charging just now, maybe 6 hours later. So, I can't talk about battery life or durability, but I'll tell my first impressions.I got it in red. It's nice, a dark satin red with a silver streak. I like. It took longer to get it out of the packaging than to pair it to my iBook system 10.4. Nothing to install, no hassles. Both buttons and scroll wheel work perfect. The charger plugs into a USB port and connects to the mouse very securely. The one flaw is that when connected the wire is on the back of the mouse (to user's wrist, not fingertips) and so is in the way a bit. The mouse works while charging, which is nice. Response is sharp. I detect no lag time. It works quickly / immediately upon the computer waking up from sleep or from the mouse being turned off. The off switch is a good thing, and solidly made - unlike the Macally mouse I had before this. As for usability, I would NOT want it for my full-time regular mouse. It's small. Maybe it's smaller than it looks - it has a teardrop shape that is fairly long, but skinny that doesn't leave much to grab hold of or rest your hand on. I have average sized hands, and notice its lack of size. It's not bad. I can easily use it, and as I got it for portability, the small size is appealing. This isn't a fault; it's a trade-off. If you have large hands or plan to use it constantly, I recommend you check the fit first. It comes with a little cloth bag with 2 comprtments (charger and mouse, presumably). It's not super, but will probably keep the mouse from some scratches and so on. A final note, it comes with rechargeable batteries. The batteries are rated at 600 mah, which I think is about 1/2 the capacity of new swanky batteries, so one could easily about double the battery life by upgrading and keeping the ones that came as a spare set. It's a bit challenging to get the battery cover off, tho, so swapping all the time would be a drag. Over all, I'm very pleased so far.

I've had this for a few months, and I have just a couple of negative comments:1. The left button gets stuck sometimes. It's an occassional problem but so far not serious. 2. The included batteries last for only 2 days normal use (9 hours on/day) per charge -- but I expected that. Other than that I have no complaints, it's a great bluetooth travel mouse for the money. Note: You'll need a bluetooth adapter or a laptop with built in bluetooth.

I was looking for a mouse to use with an HP "LiveStrong" laptop. I liked the size of the mouse, as well as the price. Positive reviews made me decide to give it a try. I've had the mouse for two months now, and so far it has been working well. The only complaint that I have: it tends to lose bluetooth connection randomly. Sometime I have to search for it using "Search for devices in range" function on my laptop. On the positive side, I like it's size and feel (I wouldnt want to use it all the time but for a laptop it's great). It comes with a USB charger and a storage bag. Great part is that is doesn't need batteries and you can use it while it's charging. You would need bluetooth to use it - make sure you have it; otherwise, buy a wireless mouse. It works pretty precisely (much better than a wireless Dell mouse); it doesnt skip at all. Installation was easy, but took me a few minutes to figure it out because it was my first bluetooth device that I was connecting to the laptop. Overall, I would recommend this mouse.

The anycom mouse is a very nice looking design and the docking charger works well, but it is driving me nuts with it's slow response time. I end up having to click twice on almost everything. It is as if the rate that it's sending information to the computer is slow, so it doesn't sense a click unless you hold the button down for an extra moment. Fine if you work like that, but not if you're used to a regular mouse response. It is also pretty small. Great for travel, but my large hands get cramped up using it for extended periods.

After reading other user reviews, I decided to buy this BT mouse over the other brands. I am very happy that I purchased this one! It lasted 4 days of constant use before needing to be recharged. I am going to get better quality rechargable batteries to put into it, which should increase the time between charges. It has connected right away with my dell d810. The cursor movement is precise with no lag and it takes only a second to wake it up from sleep mode. The mouse is very comfortable to use all day long. Overall I am very impressed with it.

When I purchased my laptop about 2 months ago, I knew immediately that I wanted a mouse, and didn't want to use that touchpad. I also knew I wanted something small, rechargeable and bluetooth capable. The anycom mouse is the perfect solution. Small, but no so tiny as to be difficult to manipulate. Accurate-It will work on fabric! It works better than my full size optical mouse at work. I really can't say enough about this mouse. What sold me was the rechargeability and the compact size. I hate feeding anything batteries. And, If you're pressed you can use it while its connected to its recharger. It was easy to install and I disagree that its not as accurate or is slower than wired mice. This is the best on the market for design and functionality. Amazon is offering it for a really great price, less than what I paid through another website. If you have a laptop, that you travel with, even occasionally, buy this mouse.

I loved the concept and it was a product that was unique in its time. The reoccurring problem I encountered was that I kept losing the Bluetooth connectivity between my laptop and the mouse. Very little support exists for the mouse. The mouse was not ergonomic but it is the price to pay for compactness.

Great option for laptops or home entertainment center,

I originally went looking for a Bluetooth mouse because I wanted a wireless mouse for my laptop, but I didn't want a large USB receiver hanging off the end. This was the perfect solution. The rechargeable base is invaluable, since the batteries only last about a month. I was able to use the mouse effectively from at least 30 feet away, although I suspect you could take it a little further. At that distance it becomes more of a matter of seeing the pointer on the screen. I always do a lot of research before I make a purchase, and I'm more than satisfied with this device. I don't think you'll be disappointed.I also used it with my home entertainment center, since it doesn't require an in sight receiver. Everything remains hidden behind your media cabinets. Now I just need a decent Bluetooth keyboard. |
