Great Product, July 16, 2006
This product deserves a five, but since I only had it for a short time. I did not want to jump the gun. It connects greatly with my Plantronics 510 headset, my Palm TX and with my Razr phone; which pretty much is all the bluetooth enabled devices I currently own. It has made me wonder what else can I add to my system that supports bluetooth. So far I had no problems with it interfereing with my Wifi network, which is a good thing. I read that bluetooth can cause collisions when data is transmitted over a wifi network, as both wifi and bluetooth use the same frequency range, but while wifi listens before tansmitting, bluetooth does not. However, this is a bluetooth 2.0 device which suppose to work better within a Wifi network, however my other devices are not bluetooth 2. Yet everything works well.
Thus I can safely say this is a good product, and works flawlessly and safely in a mixed wireless environment.

Works great with Windows XP, January 16, 2007
Excellent support for Windows XP including the ever-elusive Stereo Audio support for bluetooth headsets.
Be sure to go to the anycom website and get the latest 5.x version of the software and update the firmware.
I love the size. It's tiny.

Excellent product,, but beware Activesync setup, February 8, 2007
Having tried other Bluetooth USB devices, this one is small, with excellent range, and works like a champ.
That being said, it is possible you may experience setup difficulties and range limitations that are of no fault of this device. First, to get better range, BOTH devices, not just this adapter, need to be long range Bluetooth devices. Second, there is only one maker of Bluetooth software for Windoze that I am aware of, and ALL products use it (Widdcom), so they all suffer equally from its shortcomings. This device does appear to have a solid recent version of it though, and the web site offers good support and updates.
In particular, setting up a PocketPC device to use ActiveSync can be a real head-banger. This is NOT the fault of this (or any other) Bluetooth device, but the extremely poor documentation with ActiveSync and Windows Mobile. The key is that you must establish the serial connection over Bluetooth first, note the port number, set that port number in the PS side of Activesync, THEN go to your PDA and set it up there. Failure to do things in this order will result in no "Activesync" checkbox showing up on your PDA when making the connection, and without that they will never, ever talk. Also, even after you get things right on the PC side, unless you delete the old association on your PDA and create a new one, the PDA will not see the new Activesync port, leading you to believe (incorrectly) things are still not setup right on your PC.
But as I said, this is Microsoft's fault, not the adapter's. This is an excellent product.

Works With Apple Macintosh Computers!, September 24, 2007
I sure did freak out when I ordered the device and saw only various Windows operating systems listed as supported devices on the back of the package.
But I plugged this into the keyboard of my last-generation PowerMac G4 (running OS 10.4.10), and the Bluetooth System Preference popped up, I followed the set up (about 3 questions) and BADDA-BING! I was up and running!
It took about 33 seconds (35 including the start up) for a 1MB mp3 file (of 1min 12sec in length) to be transfered from my computer to my phone.
It took about the same amount of time to bring the file from the phone back to the computer.
And it took about 1 minutes and 33 seconds to transfer 3.1MBs worth of videos (5 videos) I shot with the cell phone onto the computer.
I have yet to see a flaw with this little product except that it doesn't tell you about supporting Mac's. So far, this product has been working swimmingly with my PowerMac G4.

Flawless installation & operation, January 25, 2007
I sit here listening to Art of Noise on my Motorola HT820 Bluetooth headset as I write this review. The installation of the USB-250 was absolutely flawless on my two year old Sony Vaio laptop (XP Home)on the first attempt. This was my proceedure: 1)I did NOT use the supplied CD driver. 2)I downloaded the latest driver (non-Vista)from the Anycom site but did not run it. 3)I disabled Zone Alarm & Norton Antivirus. 4)I ran the driver program and followed its instructions including inserting the USB-250 when prompted. 5) Finally, I ran the imbedded firmware update.
After rebooting I paired it with the headset and life is good!
All of my programs are working just fine, whether the Bluetooth is on or off.
I only write reviews if I am grossly dissappointed or very impressed.
I'm impressed.

Which is it? USB 200 or USB-250, July 17, 2006
I too, like an earlier reviewer, recieved a product different than displayed. The displayed model shows it allows for turning the unit 90 degrees. The model I recieved states its a USB-250 but looks more like the USB-200 which does not articulate. As far as performance, its unknown as this moment. It installs great and does work with all my BT hardware. Razr, Axim PDA and Mot HS 850 headset.

Best Bluetooth Adapter, June 20, 2006
I bought this adapter sometime back from amazon at a great deal. first of all the price for this tiny device is awesome and then the feature packed inside justifies every penny spent. the device supports latest bluetooth 2.0 + edr with practically every bluetooth profile in the market. some of the uses are:
* Synchronisation of PDA/Mobile phone and PC
* Network/DSL entrance via Access Points
* Transmission of pictures and blade tones
* file transfer
* Wireless printing and printer sharing
* VoIP applications (e.g. Skype)
* Mouse and keyboard binding
* High-quality audio transmission in MP3 quality
and much more.
the only problem is in order to utilize it fully u need to install a software which may or may not be a problem with lot of users.

Awesome BT Dongle works perfect with my Verizon Motorola E815, March 9, 2006
This was recommended in howard forums, so I bought this and installation was piece of cake. I did download the latest drivers from Anycom website. These are the new Broadcomm drivers (used to be Widcomm). I just followed the instructions on howard forums to enable Bluetooth functionality on my phone and everythoing worked without a hiccup.

Small and powerful, January 20, 2006
Despite its small size, this Bluetooth 2.0 dongle is powerful enough to reach my headset two floors away, and installation was simple using the newest drivers from Anycom's site. The newest high-speed Bluetooth 2.0 standard is supported, as are many device profiles, as both client and server.
