This year's new release by Gareth Gates is Bravo absolutely marvellous. Its got all kinds of genre songs...the best ones are unchained meloday and anyone of us!

This review is in no way meant to be disrespectful to Will but after comparing the voices of both Gareth's and his, I can't help wonder if there was a 'Stupid Mistake' made in voting Will as Pop Idol's winning artist. Mind you, this is just my opinion. And again, no disrespect is meant to Will. On Gareth's single "Stupid Mistake", his brilliant, smooth, angelic vocal's, along with those soulful brown eyes of his, could make anyone forgive him for any mistake. It is wonderful to hear such a refreshing voice in the world of pop music today. One that can make you a fall in love once again with an oldie but goodie (his rendition of Unchained Melody) and then become mesmerized with the pleading sound of his vocals in "Stupid Mistake". I think pop music could use more like him. I would rate this cd with 10 stars if possible!

I live in US but i'm a very big fan of Gareth! cause of his great voice and "anyone of us" has proved that he was the real winner.

Gareth may not have won the UK television show, Pop Idol, but he wins with this single! Anyone Of Us, Gates' second single flew to #1 and it's easy to see why! I love it! It's true Brit-pop, FUN! I highly recommend it to all!

I would like to point out that Gareth Gates DID NOT WIN POP IDOL in the UK. WILL YOUNG did by 500,000 votes

Anyone of Us (Stupid Mistake) was definitely not a stupid mistake for Gareth Gates.

This single, has topped the charts for 3 weeks and sold well in excess of 400,000 copies. Six weeks after release it is still in the Top 10 and is currently the No 6 single in the Top 20 best selling singles of 2002.

The song itself is a beautiful Abba type mid-tempo ballad with very good vocals.

The song shows off Gareth's voice extremely well and he performs it beautifully.

i love gareth gates because he is soo good lokin and sexy he he i also think that will is quite good to the cd s grate i love his songs.

I do not have an opinion on this CD except to say the review calls him the Pop Idol winner and he was not he was the runner up in the UK.

When we heard Will's first single we thought Woah and went to buy it- a piece of history. Then all the 10 year olds bought Gareths cover. Will released Light My Fire and that in itself was a piece of history. When I heard Gareth was releasing an original I was thinking high but all I got was a cheesy pop song that teaches you even if you know someone they can still cheat on you. Even Gareth... *gasp*
Is this the type of song we want our kids to hear? So they grow up either shy and scared of having a relationship in case they cheat on you or actually being the cheater?
This is pure cheesy pop and doesn't even deserve a place in the top 40, let alone the top 100.
