Yes - but only when the machine switches itself off because of the toggle-switch problem I've written about. However, this is happening increasingly often.

Never had this problem with coffee maker. Unless the carafe is not replaced square on warmer plate after using.

absolutely not! My wife and I have been users of Cuisinart DCC-1200 coffee makers for years and we have never experienced this problem. The only time the coffee would get cold was when the unit turned off (approximately two hours after brewing).

I have had the Cuisinart DCC-1200 for over 10 yrs and it has always been hot. I do however always brew on the 1-4 cup brew setting so it brews slower/stronger. I love this coffee maker and do not understand the reviews that say the coffee is not hot enough??? Never had a problem!
