5.0 out of 5 stars This is my idea of a fine saxophone quartet!!!
A superb recording in every respect, from the perfect intonation, blend, and balance to the unique style and sound of this talented group! An array of tunes to delight the casual listener and music critic alike. Perhaps my best recording...certainly a favorite! As a saxophonist and teacher, I would like all my students to hear this fine recording.

3.0 out of 5 stars Average

For a professional group, this one lacks the last degree of accuracy in intonation and articulation. The arrangements are pretty coy and not particularly inventive, but then the entire album is of the Nuclear Whales (see also) genre of fluff. I would not recommend this and certainly would not use it for students to emulate.

Pro: Flight of the Bumble...

Pro: Flight of the Bumble Bee has some impressive technique.
