I've used a couple of the patterns (Torx and spanner) in this set and the bits and the driver work fine, no complaints. It's good quality stuff. However, this set does not include the smaller Torx sizes that are commonly used in small electronics like cellphones and inner hard drive assemblies, nor does it have the larger Torx sizes found in some vehicles. You'll need additional bit sets if you want to work on things like this. Obviously no one bit set will fit all applications but I was a bit disappointed that the very common smaller Torx sizes (especially T6 and T7) were omitted. I would have purchased different items had the sizes of the bits in this set been made available somewhere. The sizes included in this set are:

Nice case, but as you can see there is no spot for the ratchet driver, and no handle for case. Although the case is not that big. The "Specialty" bits only go down to a T7 level, which was disapointing. They should have eliminated the flat heads/hex/phillips tips to accomadate for T1-T6 ( smaller heads for the specialty bits. You will not be able to use this set/case of bits for Cell phones or most newer small electonics. There were no Triangle bits.

I bought 5 sets of this product. One for myself and 4 for gifts. I gave on to my Dad, one to my brother, one to my father-in-law and one to my brother-in-law. Five stars from all of us.

I also bought the 33 piece security bit set to go with it. Both have come in handy with my iMac, Mac Book, Dell and Toshiba. The screwdriver has come in handy for big jobs too. I used it to install 5 closets worth of Elfa. It's a great screwdriver for any size job. Sturdy and well made. Has a magnetic head, which helps with the little stuff.

I put my old flat and phillips head screwdrivers in storage. Now I only carry this one with the bit sets in my Bucket Boss.

Great product.

The screwdriver bits are very sturdy. The reversible rachet handle is strong and feels good in the hand because of its heft and rubberized handle and decent contouring.

The orange case is a bit gaudy but snaps shut without problems.

Only caveat, don't lose the foam padding sheet which keeps the bits in place when you close the case Otherwise, many bits will be shaken out of position. I lost mine, but fixed the problem by manually cutting a foam insert from other packing material.

This is the best bang for the buck toolkit I've found for torx, tamperproof and other fasterners.
The bits appear to be made of good metal, not easy to strip out.
Also, they appear to be well made, centered holes, square, flush,good finish, and no sharp edges.
The handle isn't for daily use, but it's cheap enough to have it around for an extra.
I use my snap-on racheting screwdriver handle with this kit, and they work well together.
I've looked, this is the cheapest, most well-rounded kit to have around.
I wouldn't call the bits the absolute best you can buy, just the best usable bang-for-buck kit out there.
I recommend it highly.
I don't give 5 star ratings unless the item exceeds my expectations, and in this case, the 5 stars are warranted.

Purchased to use for game and PDA access. Has almost every type of security bit needed to open controllers, consoles, PDA's and cell phones. The metal used for these bits is not the strongest so make sure you use these tools carefully as the bits can "shave" or "chip". No complaints since I started using them. Great way to get a bundle at a low price.

Come with a great selection of standard and security bits, a good case, and well a built ratchet. Highly recommended.

I was searching in my country for a kit like this and couldn't find it anyway I was searching for something special, I was in need for a Torx proof need it for disassembly the base from the hard disk of some old IBM, Dell And HP server.

Excellent, even was better than I Expected.

Needed a security bit to open a microwave, so I researched all of the bit sets sold here on Amazon and glad I picked this one. Some of the other sets got bad reviews for poor manufacturing (misaligned holes), but I am very happy with the craftmanship of this set. All the bits arrived in place as they should but as someone else mentioned, KEEP THE FOAM INSERT that sits inside the case in order to keep everything where it should be. Not a big deal. The rachet screwdriver handle worked perfectly with three settings: forward, reverse, and locked.

I'll give this a couple of stars because it does definitely have a wide variety of useful bits. Maybe it deserves 3 stars for that, because the price is not bad- but this set has frustrated me so much that I just can't give it any more than 2 stars. Like others have mentioned, I also dislike that it doesn't have a place to hold the driver- but you can see that from the pic, so it's not really that much of a strike against it. But the case itself is still a piece of garbage (or at least the one I got)- the latch doesn't close snugly so it can easily open up, not only that, but the bits are NOT held tightly AT ALL!! That is like 90% of my my review is so low...it's absurd. I have to handle this thing like it's plutonium every time I pick it up to avoid getting bits all over the floor. Because of having it happen so many times, the bits are not in the right places anymore (That's totally my own fault of being too lazy- but I just don't have the patience to put every single bit back in it's correct spot after the 10th time they all fall out onto the floor. TO be fair- it's only the bottom ones- so if I actually remember which side is 'up', it's not SO bad, but I still have to be careful, and they still fall lose even inside the case. It's just a mess- it shouldn't be such a problem.

Then the driver itself- that thing broke within a few months of owning it. The main functionality still works, but the little bearing that holds in the bits popped out, so now the bit is not held tightly in the driver. Any time I pull the driver away from a screw, or if I hold it upside down, the bit gets pulled out or just flies out...extremely annoying that I have to hold it there by hand, or hold the driver pointing up any time I'm not actually turning a screw.

It has come in handy on what you'd expect- projects that involve security screws. This thing usually has the bit I need, and that's something...but it's become such a pain to use that I dread pulling it out. At some point i'm tossing this thing in the trash and just putting up the cash to get something that doesn't cause so many headaches...
