My computer came with Vista Basic and I liked what I was seeing in the "Mojave" commercials so I invested in the upgrade. Install was easy HOWEVER I had to re-install my print drivers (now my Lexmark printer doesn't work with all it's features), web cams and a couple of programs like Photoshop 4. It was almost like installing a whole new OS and not just unlocking certain features.

Have some patience and know going in it won't be a smooth transition.

I purchased this product actually to update to Vista SP1 because I had some many problems updating my Vista Home Edition from the Microsoft site. I decided to get a new product already with SP1. The product installed easily.

The service packs have fixed problems which should have been fixed before being released. I don't want to bash Microsoft because I have to work with it on a daily basis but with nearly six years of development it could have been much better at release without having to wait for service packs 1 and 2. If your computer came with Vista Basic this is a really good upgrade if your computer has enough memory to handle it. I am actually looking forward to upgrading to Windows 7 this fall because I have been testing it since January on old machines, new machines, low memory machines and even a netbook. It works much better than Vista on all of them.

This product performed as it was intended. It was a little tricky at first and I had to do a clean install, however it runs like a charm and with all the updates and SP2 installed, who needs Windows 7.

I am not computer savy so all I can really say is that it works. It installed fairly easily.
