I love the bright blue back-lit keys on this!

If you want a backlit keyboard, I recommend spending a bit more money and getting the Logitech Gaming Keyboard G105.

They say it's a full size keyboard, but it feels a little smaller than a full size.

This keyboard is not full sized as advertised.
It is significantly smaller than a standard keyboard and as such several keys are incredibly cramped and small.
The backspace, right shift, and enter keys are all way too small and very difficult to use.
The backspace (same size as a regular key) has the home key directly beside it, so mistyping causes sever displacement inside your document.
The enter key is half sized and has pgup/pgdown keys adjacent.
The right shift key is only slightly larger than a standard key, and has arrow keys cramped around it.
Worst designed keyboard that ive ever owned.

on the plus side,
The keys are nicely responsive and the backlights work nice, and have a good luminance.

yeah I would not recommend this keyboard for anyone who uses their computer for anything but the lightest of tasks.
Its ergonomics are just terrible and frustrating.

I wanted a nice simple keyboard with light up keys that would not cost me an arm and a leg, and this was it. It came in a charming box with terrible english with phrases such as "Lets make it more perfect!" and "multi-media keys to master the voice and image". I almost want to frame it. The KB makes a nice pleasant sound when you type, all the multimedia keys worked immediately without the need to install any additional drivers. Overall I am pleased with the KB.

As many have stated about pricing when considering a backlit keyboard this item is without rival. It's the most inexpensive and well thought-out media keyboard with just enough to keep you involved with everyday tasks. It offers the option for illuminated keys at a price anyone can afford.

The keys are somewhat average size leaning toward the compact footprint of a laptop key layout. It has the Windows, Mail, Search and Audio controls that media keyboards seem to be obligated to yield as well as a few others. The keys are illuminated with LED lighting components that are activated and deactivated with an on/off button. The light switch is in the far right corner of the media key row you see in the product illustration just above the QWERTY keys. The power draw of the keyboard is simple and direct as the LEDs are powered through the USB 2.0 power channel when connected to your system -- so there are no extra wires or adapters; no batteries needed. It runs out of the box without unnecessary drivers eliminating inconsistent setup and intermittent operations headaches for the average user on up the ranks.

The keyboard's landscape is a standard QWERTY layout governed by serious logical design that I've seen in short order else-where. My conclusion is a five star rating without hesitation and it is solid. The standard features are all there at an extremely low price making it an essential component that's Green, consumer friendly and user-space friendly.

It's compact without feeling like it and makes an impact in all the right places.

Feature breakdown just as a recap:

- all keys are backlit LED.
- the LED is powered via USB 2.

I bought this mainly for the blue backlit keys to go along with my desk. It looks great and functions as it should. My only complaint is the assertion that it is a "Full Size Multimedia Keyboard". I'm not sure what the standards are for 'full size' but this thing is definitely compact. The shift keys and backspace are small and everything is closer together. I'm finding it difficult to type even at my slow, one finger method. The multimedia keys are missing the crucial 'mute' button. To be fair, I read this in reviews before I bought it, but I didn't think it would be as big of a problem as it is for me.
Bottom line: This product does what it's supposed to, but if you are used to a spacious keyboard this is not for you.

Finally a lighted keyboard! I thought I was going to have to invent it myself.
Great product, great price. No problems. I can see the keys! No more desk lamp!
Love it! And I never write reviews.
Throw away your old keyboard, or use it for an art installation. Every keyboard
should be a lighted keyboard. Thank you, inventors. Thank you, Amazon.
Sincerely,
Linda Sartori

I guess this is what I get for being cheap..... If you want a full size KB with backlight DO NOT BUY THIS. Spend an extra 30-40 and get a full size gaming KB from Logitech or Microsoft.

The KB is very small. No USB port on the KB (Which is a perk). The black color and lighting of the KB keys are nice and easy to see though. If you do not game with the KB it would prob be pretty nice. It is missing the insert/home/Pg Up/delete/end/Pg Down/up/Dwn/Lft/Rt keys. The Esc key is cluttered and too close to the rest of the keys.

The board is a lot smaller than normal (Reminds me of a gorilla playing a toy piano) so thats also an issue for me.

TLDR: if you just want a KB for internet surfing or for a small child or dwarf then this is prob a great option. If not then do yourself a favor and spend the money more wisely.
