First Impressions: Pre-use,
By fruitbat (pittsburgh, pa) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Aosom 2in1 Double Baby Bike Trailer/stroller--Blue (Misc.)
Just got done putting together the Aesom trailer and wanted to offer some first impressions, pros and cons.
Pros: * Fairly easy to put together and the obviously translated from Chinese instructions were kind of funny ("... invaginate the wheel into the coupling") * Feels sturdy and well-designed. Switch from jogger to bicycle attachment looks easy. Cons * Ordered blue, got red * Cracked plastic casing that holds the handlebar similar to another reviewer's experience. Emailed company - and literally got a human response less than 10 minutes later with a promise to replace the part. * This is the biggie: specs stated a 100lb weight limit. I have a 5 and 2 year old. Together they weigh maybe 60 lbs. What I didn't see anywhere was a HEIGHT restriction. There is a line printed on the seat back saying do not go past this. And my 2 year old's head is less than an inch from that line without a helmet. The 5 year old is way too tall. What a bummer. I guess I will look around and see if this is a common restriction in bike trailers.

Best of Both Worlds,

This is an Awesome trailer/stroller!!!! I just got it today and put it together. It has some amazing features and is just as good if not better than some of the pricier models. As a bike trailer, once you connect the hitch, it can be installed/removed without tools and there is a spring inside the hitch bar that will allow the bike and trailer to pivot separately. The brake feature as a stroller is a really great feature. There is also a cargo section behind the seat for groceries or whatever. It will fold flat without tools just pins. the trailer hitch bar folds and locks underneath the unit. I can't say enough about it. My 3 yr old and infant got in to test it out and they didn't want to get out. When I went to take my infant out for naptime my 3 yr old told me she should nap in the stroller... which is where my 3 yr old sat for an hour more telling me she wanted to go for a ride. The only downside is the tires don't have air in them so I have to go air them. The plus about that is that the tires all come off so I can just take them off and to the air pump! I will update in a few months to let you know if the product holds up.

I bought this trailer and recieved it in 3 days! I put it together in about 20 minutes after reading the "instructions" that were at most, entertaining. I didn't have any problems with the inner tubes inflating as other people did. We bought this trailer for our 3 1/2 year old and our 1 yr. old. They fit great in the seat, but our 3 1/2 yr. old is tall for her age (41") and after putting on her helmet her head rubs the top of the trailer. Ok for short trips, but would be annoying for her on long trips. The stroller attatchment is easy to put on, but the front wheel doesn't swivel as I had hoped, and if you use the hand break, the front wheel stops spinning but doesn't really slow down the trailer. Storage compartment is pretty big,the fabric seems to be an ok quality, and the seat seems to be comfortable for kids. I gave this trailer a 3 for the following reasons: *Great Price *Good Quality *Bike Trailer use is great, but the stroller feature is less than I hoped for *Disappointed that the weight goes to 100 lbs, but the height of the riders is limited. Also, if you're thinking this is an easy fold and go trailer you are mistaken, it takes about 10-15 minutes to fold down or reassemble (this include having to take the wheels off and on). Overall, I like this as a bike trailer, not as a stroller and I just wish it was a little taller for the riders.
