1.0 out of 5 stars Don't get, April 20, 2010
This review is from: Aosom 10' x 20' Event Party Sun Shade Tent w/ Sidewalls - White
I bought this tent for an upcoming party. i knew the weather was going to be raining that weekend. The shipping took no time to get to me, but the poles stink. they are way to thin of a metal, and the way they go together doesn't offer support. Thank goodness this was such a crappy tent the wind took it down before my guest were under it. Don't buy this tent, and when you buy any tent check the gauge of the steel they use for the poles and how its put together. I say spend about $100 more and get a good quality item; not this one.

I bought this tent for a picnic in the park I was hosting for 100 guest. It was going to cost twice this amount to rent a tent and I figured I could get a couple uses out of this one. It is cheap, both in price and quality. It was easy to setup, I did it by myself in about 20min. The poles are all marked clearly and the diagram is easy to read. I did need help pulling the top over the poles, it had to be stretched pretty hard. The cover attaches with velcro straps that are not all that secure, however once the cover is secure over all four corners it is a pretty tight fit. There are pieces that come down the legnth of the poles that you need to secure to the bottom of the pole, this added stability, before we did this the tent kept leaning and the poles popped out at the top. Once we had everything secured it worked great. It was a fairly windy day and the tent held up fine, we did use the stakes provided to secure all the poles. It offered great shade and I had a lot of compliments on the tent. We did not use the side walls, I ran out of time setting up. The cover is made from a vinyl material and does look kinda cheap also.

overall I feel I got my money's worth. If you are looking for something really nice, sturdy, and super simple to put up I would spend the extra 70 or so bucks. But if you are like me and can handle a bit of a downgrade and a tad more work to save a few bucks this tent should satisfy you.

1.0 out of 5 stars dangerous garbage, June 22, 2010

DO NOT BUY!!!! i knew this was cheap and so i put it up a few days before my party to make sure it was going to hold up in case weather got bad. this piece of junk comes with useless stakes that a small breeze took care of in a couple hours. after resecuring it with good stakes, it lasted through nice day. the next day it rained. i went out to check it and it looked fine. an hour later the rain had accumulated and took it down. the polesd and contectors are all broken and destroyed. i'm happy it didn't happen when i had guests because one of them may have ended up with a pole in their head which wouldn't be good. well this is going to be fun returning it to the seller.

Easy to put together. Not made for North Dakota though. Small wind brought it right to the ground. The pipes are to small and thin for the sides and roof. Velcro wasnt long enough to go around the pipes to hold the sides on. Would recemmend for a one time party as long as the wind wasnt blowing. Sure wasnt worth the money.

1.0 out of 5 stars White Party Tent Gazebo Canopy A Huge Dud, October 15, 2010

This review is from: Aosom 10' x 20' Event Party Sun Shade Tent w/ Sidewalls - White
I found this tent to be a huge piece of garbage and waste of money. The very first time I put it together, the plastic corner pieces began snapping under the light tension followed by the metal poles actually splitting and cracking. I never got passed the preliminary set-up as it was unusable at that point. It isn't as if I didn't follow the directions ... there weren't any - just a diagram showing which pieces went together. Maybe I put it together in the wrong order thus creating tension? But as there were no step-by-step directions I just followed the drawing. Buyer beware!

2.0 out of 5 stars Not worth the money, December 27, 2011

When the canopy arrived, it arrivede in a big box with all instructions. But once the canopy was up and tied down with the stakes a good gust of wind would lift it up and blow uit over. A good heavy rain fall would creat pockets of water on the roof area. The pipes they give you rust out after only about a three weeks and when you get a small tear or cut in the canopy your done for and the canopy ripps even more. Only had this product for about a month and then it was no more. The canopy works great for sunny, calm days but watch out for rain and windy days.
