Apach L3490 33 Degree Strip Framing Nailer

Amazon's description of this nailer is 33 degree. It is not. It is a 34 degree nailer
according to the Apach website. It seems to be well made and its made in Taiwan and
not mainland China. Could be a plus. The descripion on Amazon is sparse and doesnt
really tell you ANYTHING about the tool. The tool takes clipped head nails 2" to 3-1/2".
It uses 34 degree paper collated strip nails 0.113 to .161 /2.87 to 4.1mm.
The tool weighs 8#'s and measures 18.3x4.5x114.6 inches. The manual that comes with it
is pretty much useless as it covers 3 different models, not even listing this model. You
have to do a guessing game to figure it out. Nowhere does it even mention a warranty and
the only phone number and address listed is in Taiwan. I gave it 3 stars until I try
it out and then I wll update my review. That is, if I keep it. Im quite leery with the
sparse information on the Company. I have emailed them a question as to the warranty etc.
Ill see if they respond. Amazon really needs to update their listing.

UPDATE: Still have not received a reply from Apach to my email. Seeing as how no one
is claiming responsibility for these items, warranty, parts, etc. Im afraid
that Im probably going to return this before the return period is up. I'll
look for a first tier item even if it costs more. I dont see how Amazon can
sell this Brand when there is no back up for it.

FURTHER UPDATE: As of 10/2/2011 there is still no reply to my email.

UPDATE 10/12/2011 : Still no replies to my email and no further information available and
so I returned it for a refund.
