4.0 out of 5 stars An exciting, romantic adventure story, well worth reading.
I enjoyed reading this book, and it made me feel like I was really living in the 1600's. All the adventure in the story kept me reading long into the night, and the passion and chemistry between the two main characters was electrifying. A definite must for anyone who likes historical romance!

I found that Carmen and Puma lacked that chemistry between them. The only reason I finished the whole story was because I knew Carmen would end up falling in "false" love and wanted to see if it would change her personality. I'm sorry to say that it could have been much much better. It's not even worth this much typing. ugh!
