This is one of those special books that you wish would go on forever. Tempest (the fiesty female lawyer) is a strong heroine who you admire. Cord(the tormented hero) is the type of man you fall in love with. His love for her is emotional and deep. You bond with these two in their best and worst moments. I also loved the element of humor that Carol Finch includes in every book and in this book in particular. This one will make you laugh and cry and wish you could see more of these two characters.
