Every song on this cd is great bottom line!! If you like reggae and who the hell doesn't, add this to your collection!! This is by far Alpha's best album! If you like Bob then get this, TRUST ME you will enjoy this album and will play it constantly!! Alpha is a nice break from Marley since he is unfortunatly overplayed! The cd is cheap for the quality of music. I do recommend you get this cd before the greatest hits cd, because Alpha's best songs (my opinion) are on this cd. ENJOY!!

First introduced to Alpha Blondy by Rasta Stevie from Teluride... not personally but via a ski video... since then whenever I hear Jah Houphouet I can feel myself crusin' through fresh powder amounghst the trees. As another reviewer notes, this CD is a must for road trips.... especially if you hiting the snow or beach.. sit back and enjoy the sweet sounds.

Im not sue what it is but Im also buying this for the second time after passing it on to a friend... I hope he did the same again...and again and so on... its one of those albums you will fall in love with and want to share... enlighten a friend!

Bought this album 14 years ago after hearing just one song. Listening to the album today is just as enjoyable. Alpha Blondy has one of the richest voices in the world of music. Even more so, he manages to redefine what we know as Reggae music since the death of Bob Marley. This album is nothing short of a masterpiece.

Why would I bother adding another five star review to all of the ones that have already been posted? Because this album is simply that good. It's hands down my favorite Alpha Blondy album, and he is easily one of my favorite artists. His first recordings got me hooked when I was a kid, and I still enjoy every note. This disc goes with me on every road trip.

Alpha Blondy is one of the great inspirational song writers and singers in the everloving world of reggae music. This album is very uplifting and fulfilling.

This Album is a must for any serious Reagee fan, world music appreciator or just someone with good taste for rythm and lyric that stimulate the mind and ear! I can not imagine anyone being dissapointed with this album, it will deliver you a lifetime of enjoyment

A friend turned me on to Alpha in college 20 years ago. This was the album he lent me. Went out and bought myself a copy on first listen. Still have that original disc and still regularly listen to it end-to-end. Love the low heavy bassline that permeates the album, and Alpha's voice (of course). This is my favorite Alpha Blondy album, but 'Jerusalem' is equivalent and 'Cocody Rock!!!' is also good. A must for the collection of any music fan.....

This is pretty much a classic, so most people really know it. By the way, I'm not insulting it with 4 stars. Seems like everything on Amazon is either 1 star or 5. I have a few albums I like better that are worthy of 5 stars, but that's my personal preference.

Alpha Blondy has a pretty unique voice--you can recognize it after just a few listens. The songs are structured well, and his emotion will resonate with you for quite some time. The title track contains one of the catchier choruses you'll hear. Sebe Allah Ye' is also great (be prepared, this, like much of Alpha Blondy, is not in English). If you're delving into reggae, or if you're an experienced fan, you need to go ahead and grab this one. Very moving.

This album is fun to listen to, and has a great reggae feel to it, but doesn't show Alpha's songwriting ability, in my opinion. Perhaps he's trying to reach a Western Anglophone audience, but his English lyrics didn't do much for me.

This is a life-changing album. Quite literally one of the best albums I have ever heard in any genre. I am about to buy my 3rd copy -- I have given the other two away. This time I'm keeping it!
