The Lunachicks are/were a good solid NY punk band, stylistically similar to the Dead Kennedys. Feminists w/ a good sense of humor; nothing like Bikini Kill, but sounds a bit similar (a bit-not a lot!). They definitely found their place on Go-Kart Records. This is a solid single overall, better than Babysitters on Acid (their first realease), but not as good as Jerk of All Trades or Luxury Problem, which are their two best in my opinion; if you like live stuff check out Drop Dead live. Any of those 3 are better than this one, but I's still recommend this if you like them.

This single actually doesn't have a title so it's most likely for the song "Apathetic." It contains the first two songs off of Binge + Purge and "L'il Debbie," a song exclusive to this cd. Overall this single is really good, "Plugg" happens to be my favorite song off of Binge + Purge so that's a bonus. "L'il Debbie" is about an overweight transvestite cowboy (or something like that) and mixes fast and slow drum parts with Theo talking speedily over the whole thing. It's a typical out there Lunachicks song but it's good. Overall I recommend this cd for any serious Lunachicks fan.
