Battleship Chess is an amazing effort of combining turn-based strategy with a fun and simple nautical theme. This is not your standard Battleship game - there is much more to it. It is chess-like in that you need carefully plan the position of your forces, but there's a perfect balance of chance and planning. It gives the game wonderful replayability.

Don't expect historical accuracy here. Forces are evenly balanced and you may move only one ship on a turn. Yet it takes a well conceived strategy with a limited amount of information to win.

I've only played against the computer which does a reasonable job of putting up a fight. Multiplayer looks like fun although it seems difficult to set up.

If you like a good naval strategy game and don't mind the lack of historical accuracy, get this game. It is an absolute steal at this price.

This game is fickle and does not work in W7 no matter what compatability mode it is in. Unless you have extremely good luck or a slower pc, don't even think about this one...
