The handwriting recognition software is laughable, and I've yet to find a way to clear the device's memory. Definitely not worth the cost.

Compared to the Wacom Inkling this is total trash - poor tracking and silly software. This does not connect directly to the ipad dongle port as the aPen (parent company? sister company?) demo shows - with so many versions of this Yinfang digital product out there it's not surprising there is confusion over them.
When you sort out weather you are APen, eFun, PocketPen, or simply Yinfang and your product actually works as demos show, do give us a call.

I used part of an Amazon Christmas Gift Card I received from my wife to buy this A4 pen just so I could draw on any paper with a ball pen and stream it live to my ipad, without having to upload anything other than the free ipennote from the app store, connect devices by provided cable and BINGO!! It really works!!!
